Groundbreaking for La Jolla streetscape plan is pushed back; more donations sought

Donations and grants continue to come in for the La Jolla Community Foundation and Enhance La Jolla’s Village streetscape project, though not quite enough for the first phase to break ground at the start of 2025.

Foundation Chairwoman Phyllis Pfeiffer said at its annual meeting Oct. 1 that because the group hasn’t secured all the funds, work will not begin in January as hoped.
