2025 Look Ahead: La Jolla leaders applaud ‘significant strides’ while identifying goals for the new year

“In 2024, the La Jolla Community Foundation made significant progress on the Village streetscape project, an initiative aimed at enhancing our community’s public spaces.
“Key milestones included completing numerous technical studies and reports and hiring a dedicated project manager to oversee this complex effort. Additionally, we raised an impressive $4.3 million to fund the project — $2.5 million through the incredible generosity of La Jolla residents and $1.8 million from public grants.
